Happy Sunday! And happy Thanksgiving Day Weekend! Hope everyone had lots of turkey and stuffing to fortify you for the holiday season yet to come!
For my Six Sentence Sunday post today, I’m still celebrating the four month anniversary of the release of Only Scandal Will Do, my first full length historical novel. Man, it doesn’t seem like it’s been that long!
Since so many people last week wanted to know Katarina’s response to Duncan’s declaration, I thought I’d satisfy your curiosity. This snippet follows directly after last week’s post. Kat has inadvertently revealed to her brother that Duncan compromised her in the brothel. She is livid, accusing Dalbury of setting her up. He, in turn, declares that he loves her.
She shivered at his words. Her hand flew to her mouth and a gasp escaped at his wicked lie. She lashed out and a handprint appeared on his face. Then she turned and fled the room before he could say anything else.
“Kat, come back here.”
She could hear Jack calling her, but paid him no heed.
Thanks so much for visiting me today. Only Scandal Will Do is available now at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, All Romance E-books , and other major e-tailers.
And for another little sneak peek, once again, here’s the fantastic trailer for my book, created by the multi-talented Danielle Fine!
Now pop over to the Six Sentence Sunday list and check out the rest of the snippets. See you there!

Had he listened to her explanation at the brothel, none of this would have happened! Serves him right.

Love it. It’s like she’s on autopilot, lashing out and having a handprint “appear” as if she didn’t put it there. Can’t wait to see where it goes.
