Participating authors in Horny Hump Day post three sentences from their published works or WIP, hot like a firecracker! LOL
Since I’m in Island mode this week, down in St. Thomas visiting fellow historical author, Ella Quinn, I thought I’d give you a hot snippet from my island romance Almost Perfect.
Pam’s fantasy 1Night Stand has gone very awry. Instead of her pirate lover, she’s left with her ex-husband. However, Roger’s been busy during the two years of their divorce–and he’s decided to show Pam what he’s learned. Vigorously. In this scene they are in the warm Caribbean water and Roger is standing, taking Pam for a wild ride.
In no time, he’d built a delicious tension that excited her in a whole new way. Then he shifted to faster, deeper thrusts, squeezing her ass as he pumped in and out. He brought her body to the sharp pinnacle of release just as he groaned and dipped them into the water.
Hot Caribbean night! If you want to feel more of the heat, Almost Perfect is available at Amazon, B & N, and ARe.
Please continue to the Horny Hump Day blog site for additional sites on the hop and go check out the other hot authors.
Thanks so much for visiting the Journal once more for Horny Hump Day!

That’s a perfect combination of a great lover and the beautiful Caribbean.

I completely agree, Carrie-Anne, now having been on a Caribbean beach (although not with a lover of Roger’s caliber LOL). Pam is one lucky girl!

What is it about water and sex? Beach, pool, shower, they’re all sensual and sexy. I can picture this scene very clearly. It’s a wonderful book!

And come to think of it, Patricia, I’ve written scenes in all those aquatic places! You’re right, water is a very sensual medium for love play. Maybe next time a waterfall! 🙂 Thanks so much!

I just bought the book because of memories of a place called Norm’s on the Waterfront that in the early seventies. It looked like a scene out of an old Bogart movie. Turn around and look out the window at the harbor and the Caribbean in the distance. I loved Megan’s Bay. The ship had a party there. I loved the fact that if you wanted the beach and a refuge from too much sun the palm trees came down almost to the water. Megan’s is so beautiful that Playboy did a photo shoot there.
I wish I were there now you fortunate one.

We’ve been walking 2 miles each morning and afternoon at Magen’s Bay and it is pretty close to paradise. I’m posting more photos on Friday. Last night we went to Latitude 18 to listen to a great band, Flipswitch. I truly am fortunate this week! Hope you enjoy Almost Perfect! Think of Magen’s when you read it. 🙂

Jealous as I sit here looking at the 6-8 inches of snow we now have. I’ve read Almost Perfect and loved it! It was emotional since I had just gone through a divorce and it brought back so many feelings.

I’m sorry for the snow, Melissa. I’ll be coming back to it next week too. 😦 But I’m glad you did enjoy Almost Perfect, even if it did bring back those memories.

I understand Virginia is too. Maybe I can accidentally miss my flight out. I’m sure Ella won’t mind. 🙂

Now that is steamy. As it is the Caribbean, the water won’t even cool them off! Nice.

You’re right about that, Helen! The water down here is like bath water, lovely and warm. It certainly wouldn’t have cooled them off!
