So we return this week to Geoffrey and Alyse and their first hot encounter.
He touched something there among the curls and a low moan rolled out of her throat as streaks of fire blazed between her thighs.
No one had told her what a man’s touch would do to her, or that there was a hill to crest. She fought now to storm that hill, straining against his hand, following his rhythm–he could do what he willed for they desired as one.

I finished reading Betrothal for the second time two days ago. I have to write a 5-star review for it. This segment was so beautifully written and sensual. You could really feel Alyse’s wonder. Well done!

I’m not sure how much would have been imparted to her before her marriage–the mechanics of the act would be discussed probably, but of course, girls will talk. So she may have had some inkling of what would happen. But the reality is so often VERY different from the gossip. LOL Thanks for coming by, Sue!
