Hoppy Easter Bloghop!

Easter is here!  Hard to believe we’re almost into warm weather here in Virginia.  Easter has always been a fun holiday, with Easter baskets and stuffed Easter bunnies.  And lots of chocolate!  One year, when our daughter was three, we went to the White House Easter Egg Roll.  That was a mad house…er lawn, but we still have two wooden Easter eggs stamped with the White House emblem.

This year, instead of Peter Cottontail hopping down the bunny trail, I’m hoping you’ll be hopping around our blog hop.  We’ve got a huge amount of authors and some fabulous prizes on each stop.  Check out my two new books coming out this spring/summer and find out what Easter goodies you can hopefully put in your basket at the end of the blog.

This spring my first full length historical romance, Only Scandal Will Do, will be released from Lyrical Press.

Kidnapped and sold at auction in a London brothel, Lady Katarina Fitzwilliam squelches an undeniable attraction to the masked stranger who purchased her, pits her wits against him, and escapes him and the scandal that would ruin her life.

Unable to resist temptation in a London brothel, Duncan Ferrers, Marquess of Dalbury, purchases a fiery beauty. She claims she’s a lady, but how can she be? No lady of his acquaintance in polite society is anything like her. Then he discovers she is who she says, and that this latest romp has compromised her reputation. He knows how that is. One more scandal and he’ll be cast out of London society, but he needs a wife who’ll provide an heir to carry on his illustrious family’s name. He seeks out Katarina, intending only to scotch the scandal, but instead finds his heart ensnared. He’s betting their future he’ll capture her heart, but does he have what it takes to win the wager?

WARNING: A blade-wielding heroine who crosses swords with a master of sensuality.

Excerpt:

“A lady in distress?” He laughed and straightened. “How did a lady come to find herself on display at an auction, scandalously clad in a transparent Greek costume, in Madame Vestry’s House of Pleasure?”

“House of Pleasure?” she squeaked.

“Where else would such a thing occur?” The man’s amusement seemed to deepen at her indignation. “And there will certainly be pleasure here tonight, slave.”

He ran a slow hand down her arm, the fingers trailing silkily against her bare flesh. Her mouth agape at such a liberty, she slapped the hand away and ran for the door. A long arm snared the diaphanous folds of her gown. The material strained against her body. Kat froze lest it rip, exposing her completely. Cursing her own folly for choosing such a costume, she swung around to face her captor.

“Please release me, sir,” she demanded, trying to keep her temper in check. She needed to woo this man to her cause. And though it galled her, she could only do so with soft words, not blows. Perhaps the blows could come later.

And this summer I hope to see my new steamy erotic romance novella, Seven Days of Seduction, available from New Dawning Bookfair.

Ashley is known for her outrageous parties and last Friday night was no exception.  Except she wakes to find a video of her in the middle of a menage a tois with a close friend and a gorgeous stranger.  Unable to remember anything about the night, other than the hot sex she sees on the computer screen, Ashley begins a search for Mr. Hunk.  She has no luck until he unexpectedly shows up–in her shower.

Hunter Hopewell would love to initiate Ash into a variety of sexual experiences he finds exciting, but are his tastes too wild even for Ashley?

Excerpt:

“So who are you?  I mean, you say Hunter Hopewell, but I don’t know you.  And you know me.”

“Yes, I do.  I’ve never met you, but I’ve been interested in you for a while now.”

Despite the hot water, chills raced over Ashley’s body, standing her hair on end.  Oh, my God!  A stalker.  I’ve attracted a stalker.  And she was shut in a bathroom with him.  Suddenly she couldn’t breathe.

“You work over in English at the university.”  He knew where she worked.  “And I’ve seen you around the campus.”  He’d been watching her.  She wrapped her arms around her chest, shielding her body as best she could.  Maybe Sam would come in.  “You’re a beautiful girl, Ashley.  With lots of potential.”

Potential for what?  She gasped in air, finally needing to breathe or pass out.  “I think you should leave.”  Where the balls came from to utter that sentence she had no idea.

“Why?”  His voice rose in puzzlement.

“Because you’re scaring the crap out of me!”

His laugh was deep and genuine.  “Well, I didn’t mean to do that.”  Through the frosted glass she glimpsed him moving, though she couldn’t see exactly what he was doing.  Was he going to leave?   A stab of regret streaked through her chest.

The shower door moved.  Ashley screamed and back pedaled two steps until she slammed into the wall beneath the still pulsing shower head.  She watched, unable to move, as Hunter shoved his big, naked frame through the opening then slid the door closed.

“Hi.”  His grin revealed perfect white teeth.

“H..hi.”  Ash gasped, trying to see all of him at once.  He seemed to fill the stall with his wide shoulders and chest.  She recalled the video in which she had run her hands through that mat of hair.  Up close and in the flesh was much better than a computer screen.  Though she tried to stop, she dipped her gaze lower over tight abs to his hips and the cock that jutted out from a patch of dark, crinkly hair.  Without a condom this time, his dick was a normal pink with a darker head.  And there was a lot of it.

So now for the giveaways, like the “easter egg” at the end of the movie. LOL  I have several prizes to give away for this hop:  Grand Prize is a $10.00 gift card to Amazon, Barnes & Noble or All Romance E-Books (winner’s choice).  The 3 First Prizes are copies of my already published works (again, winner’s choice), Heart of Deception, Hog Wild, and Almost Perfect.  All you need do is comment on my blog, give me your email address (without the email you are NOT entered to win) and tell me what you do to celebrate the return of Spring.  Do you have Spring Cleaning?  Do you buy new summer clothes?  My college friends used to hold a ‘Rite of Spring’ party–boy, was that wrong!  But what do you do?  After commenting, click this link:  HOPPY EASTER BLOG HOP to continue to the other blogs.  Hoppy Easter!

We open all the windows and get the winter germs out first and then we spend as much time outside as possible. It’s so nice to be able to go out without the 100 pounds of winter gear!

  9. I pretty much sulk about the end of winter. I prefer the cold. And in Florida there’s not much cold, so I treasure every single day of it! Spring just means the impending suckiness of summer (and summer power bills, heh).
