I’m back, of course, for Six Sentence Sunday. I’ve missed blogging this week, but I’ve gotten a lot done on my edits–for two books! I’m a little overwhelmed, but had to post this for my friends “The Sixers.” I do truly appreciate everyone’s comments each week; it’s like a friendly face poking a head inside my door. Thank you to all who choose to visit my blog.
We’re back once more this week, under the copper beech where Rafe is taking control.
His mouth descended without warning, pressing her lips with his searing kiss. Encouraged to find no resistance, Rafael angled his head and slipped one arm behind her waist, the other behind her head to steady it against his onslaught.
He ran his tongue lightly over her closed lips, teased along the seam seeking some chink in her tight defenses. When he found none, he concentrated on seducing her lips with gentle tugs, nibbling here and there. She relaxed in his arms and her hands slid up onto his shoulders, pulled him towards her. He lifted his head, surprised, and opened his eyes to find ice picks of gray steel staring back at him from less than an inch away.
Or is he? Samantha may have something to say about that kiss. 🙂
Hope you enjoyed this snippet! For more great sixes please go to Six Sentence Sunday. Or join us for more fun next week with six of your own.
If you liked my six, perhaps you’d like some of my published work as well. Heart of Deception, is available for purchase from Books To Go Now!, and Hog Wild from New Dawning International Bookfair. Both are available from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and All Romance Ebooks. I’ve also included the cover for my latest erotic contemporary, Almost Perfect, due out this fall/winter from Decadent Publishing! And my Georgian novel, Only Scandal Will Do, may be out as early as Spring 2012 from Lyrical Press. You see why I’m overwhelmed? LOL See you next week.

Veyr nicely written 🙂
…but, if he encountered no resistance, doesn’t that contradict him looking for a chink in her defences?

Got to love that little tease. She sets him up with the arms then knocks him down when he least expects it with a look that could freeze the most rakeshell of men.
