HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
I wanted to make this day a little more special for all my readers and fans, so I’ve decided to hold giveaways throughout the day! Nothing says Happy Valentine’s Day better than chocolate, right?
I’ve gotten candy (usually chocolates) almost every year of my life it seems. My tastes have changed over the years. I used to not care at all what kind of chocolate I got, as long as I got some. I remember in second grade being totally embarrassed that a boy who liked me put a red heart box of chocolates in my Valentine’s envelope. Everyone was ooh-ing and ah-ing over it and I wanted to kill him for drawing attention to me. LOL
More recently I’ve loved Godiva chocolates and when I was in Europe I brought back a ton
of Belgian chocolate from Bruges and ate all kinds of chocolate pastries in Germany. Unfortunately, these days, with a newly discovered lactose intolerance, I’m tending more toward dark chocolate, which isn’t a bad thing, but man I do miss Reese’s Cups and Baby Ruths!
What is your favorite kind of chocolate? It doesn’t have to be a candy bar or specific brand. It could be brownies, or hot chocolate, or chocolate cake!

I like any kind of white chocolate. Not a big fan of dark chocolate.

I am not a big fan of white chocolate for some reason. Maybe I need to try it again. I wonder if it’s lactose free.

Oh my Goodness! I love chocolate!!! It is my 5th major food group. In high school, I ate chocolate for lunch every day.
As to my favorite there are a lot. A moist chocolate 2 layer cake with rich chocolate icing and a chocolate mousse layer between the 2. I love moist rich brownies with chocolate pieces in them and a good chocolate icing.
I love everything chocolate-candy, ice cream, cookies, fudge, etc.

I love chocolate cake, chocolate chip cookies and my favorite candy, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

I miss Reese’s Cups like crazy. I tried eating just one–but nope. Don’t they have a dark chocolate version? I’ll check that out!

OMG I always loved the sweet combination of almonds and coconut “Almond Joy” was my go to candy bar! But like you being Lactose intolerant later in life, I go for that dark chocolate now…..I like to try different ones.

I love good dark chocolate, Belgium and German are good. Also, put chocolate ganache on anything and I’ll eat it. It is so much better than too sweet frosting and it is like having fudge for dessert too!
