Six Sentence Sunday 10/09–As Long As You’re Mine

Hello again!  Pre-edits almost done for Only Scandal Will Do so I’m here again with the next six from As Long As You’re Mine.  Remember Rafe just kissed Samantha twice and stopped her from slapping him a second time.  I hope you enjoy!

“I could say the same thing about your kisses, Mr. Beauregard,” Samantha said, trying to twist her arm free.

“If you really thought so, you shouldn’t have encouraged me during the first one,” he said, grinning at her furrowed brow.

“I did no such thing,”  she insisted, her exasperated huff ruffling the hair on his forehead.

“I regret to disagree, but you most certainly did.  And there’s no reason we can’t indulge in a little dalliance with a clear conscience now.  We blew the barn door off the hinges last night and that horse isn’t coming back.”

An offer too good for Samantha to refuse?  LOL

Hope you enjoyed this snippet!  For more great sixes please go to Six Sentence Sunday.  Or join us for more fun next week with six of your own.

Well, you’ve got to remember she’s the one who crawled into his bed and has forced their marriage. He’s not without a valid beef here. So trying to “give as good as he got” so to speak, may get him into more hot water, but it does let Samantha know who she’s dealing with. Thanks for coming by so late/early, Mirriam and Lindsay!
